This 19th century farmhouse is set in the northern
part of the Charente Maritime. In the summer it is surrounded by fields of
rape, sunflowers and wheat. The only noise one hears is the farmer going
about his work. The gite is 3 years old and comprises of two twin bedded
bedrooms upstairs with a toilet and shower room. There is also a mezzanine
with a sleeper couch, which can be used as a bedroom or TV room as
necessary. A cot is also available. The main bedroom is downstairs with an
en suite shower and toilet. They have been tastefully decorated with large
beams and an exposed brick wall in the lounge gives a rustic feel. The
living area downstairs is open plan with a fitted kitchen with dishwasher,
washing machine, oven, microwave and double door fridge.

The lounge and dining room areas are comfortably
furnished and all rooms have convection heaters.
Your fridge will be stocked with a welcome pack
consisting of milk, bread, water and of course a bottle of local red wine!
Outside there is a patio with a bbq to the south west of the gite where the
sun shines all day, perfect for dining al fresco in the long summer
evenings. The 10 x 5 meter pool is for your exclusive use and has been
insulated to keep the water at an agreeable temperature. Sun loungers are
provided for lazy days around the pool. The garden is large with plenty of
room for games. There are boules and badminton and bicycles for your use at
no extra charge.
