The main property has been refurbished to sleep up to 5 people.There are 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed and the 2nd a twin bedded room) and a further space for an additional bed. We have a separate en-suite room with own entrance sleeping 2. It faces our own mountain which you are free to explore. The Languedoc area of south - west France is an area of outstanding beauty.

Set amidst the muratel mountain range, our property has its own mountain in the garden! You may explore the mountain, seek out the fantastic flora and fauna. There are plenty of places to enjoy with scenic walks along the river. Lovely mountain viewpoints close by.

There is ample room to park and plenty of space to play! The walk to the village takes about 15 minutes on foot, less than 5 minutes in the car. This is a fantastic area for cyclists. walkers, photographers, or golfers (next village). The owner is a qualified Yoga/fitness teacher.Aromatherapist/reflexologist if you're very stressed!

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region
Languedoc is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area is mountainous, breathtaking and gloriously romantic. Eateries are excellent , good value for money and the wine of course is very reasonable and plentiful.

The climate is always good. The whole area is steeped in history and there are many lovely places/areas to visit close by . Castles/rivers/canyons/beaches/lakes. Be ready to be enchanted by the wildlife/fauna and clear blue skys.

Lamalou Les Bains area
Bedarieux is a lovely old market town with a traditional Monday market. Lots of Cafe/bars and well frequented restaurants. Beautiful scenery/traditional French houses and of course the river. Plenty of local shops with supermarkets situated slightly out of town toward Herepian.

Lamalou Les Bains is also a busy market town with Tuesday market, food hall, beautiful walks, a wonderful church, restaurants and a very good information centre. The thermal springs draw people into the small town.
There is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Lots of gift shops.

Situated overlooking Lamalou is the Chapel of our Lady at Capimont, its a bit of a challenging down hill walk from this lovely viewpoint into Lamalou but good exercise! L'Eric Canyon is not too far by car from Lamalou approx 15 minutes. This wonderful natural canyon with fantastic walks and scenery is a definite "must visit".
Ryanaire budget airlines fly into 3 nearby airports daily from Stansted and Luton airport. Montpellier. Carcassonne, Beziers and Perpignan.
Norfolkline Ferries offer very cheap night crossings for those travelling by car, as does eurotunnel.
